Who we help
PR for complex and deep technology companies
Cast Influence works with companies whose value is real, measurable and hard to explain. We build the claim and proof matrix first, prepare the people who will defend it, and earn technical, trade and business coverage that survives a knowledgeable reader.
Trigger events
- A technical milestone or pilot result
- A regulatory or policy moment in your category
- Claims that need substantiation before they go public
- An investor or partner announcement with a technical core
Who this is for
- Deep tech, hardware, energy, climate and applied-science companies
- Teams where engineering and marketing describe the product differently
- Categories where an overstated claim carries real commercial risk
Outcomes we work toward
- Every public claim mapped to evidence and a named owner
- Technical spokespeople prepared for the second question
- Business coverage that does not introduce errors
- Authority with the analysts, experts and buyers who scrutinise the category
What this is not
- Claims we cannot substantiate, at any budget
- Patent, regulatory or IP counsel
- Hype framing that outruns the evidence
Approved proof
Evidence from this world
Evidence-to-Authority Program
Technical and commercial message architecture; claim and proof matrix; media and expert strategy; technical spokesperson preparation; milestone launch; policy and investor context where relevant.
Buying questions
Questions we get asked
How do you brief reporters who lack technical background?
From a reviewed claim set with the conditions attached. We translate once, in writing, so the plain-language version and the technical version say the same thing.
What is the claim and proof matrix?
One row per public claim: the exact wording, the data or test behind it with conditions stated, the internal owner who defends it, and the date it was last reviewed. Anything without all four does not go out.
Will our engineers have to do press?
Usually yes, for the technical tier, and we prepare them properly. Credibility in these categories comes from the people who built the thing.
Can you work with policy and regulatory context?
We handle the communications around it and coordinate with your counsel or policy advisors. We do not provide legal or regulatory advice.
What if legal blocks most of our claims?
Then the programme starts by finding what is defensible and building from there. A smaller set of claims that hold up is worth more than a large set that gets walked back.
